A good friend has a gorgeous collection of succulent terrariums in her home. Every time I visit her, I gravitate toward that area. It really is beautiful. Her terrariums contain some of the prettiest and most colorful succulents. Because of this, I have been inspired to start growing my own.
One of the first things that I did was to find the right glass container. Choose something that isn’t too deep. This will allow water to properly evaporate. Otherwise, you’ll end up moldy. You’d also want something that will allow air to flow nicely.
When putting in succulents, remember not to put in too much. It’s nice to give your succulents room to breathe and grow – don’t get your terrariums overcrowded. And don’t overwater, either. Choose the right soil and water as needed.
Materials:
- Glass terrarium
- Well draining soil
- Succulents
- Accent pieces (moss, stones, sticks)
