It’s very easy to learn how to make your own succulent turtle. And what’s even better is that you can get most of the needed supplies at your local Dollar store.
Now if you’re planning to make one, we suggest you consider making another so that your turtle plant won’t get lonely. Lonely turtle, sad-looking garden! And of course we don’t want that. 😉
It’s not exactly a ‘cheap’ project but it is inexpensive cute garden decor that will be around for years!

- Wire Hanging Basket with Coir Liner
- 4 Clay Pots
- Sphagnum Moss
- Sempervivum (Hens & Chicks) Succulent Plants
- Roll of Chicken Wire
- Landscape Fabric
And these tools:
- Wire Cutter
- Small Knife
